الكيسات المخاطية الرقمية (Digital mucous cysts) هي نوع من العقد التي تظهر بشكل متكرر في اليد. العقدة الغنغولية (Ganglion) هو ورم في الأنسجة الرخوة يوجد بجوار المفصل أو الوتر. الكيس المخاطي الرقمي (Digital mucous cyst) يتطور على وجه التحديد من الجزء الخلفي من المفصل القاعدي البعيد (DIP). غالبًا ما تتواجد هذه الأكياس مع التهاب المفاصل العظمي في المفصل القاعدي البعيد (DIP).
Digital mucous cysts are a type of ganglion commonly found on the hand. A ganglion is a soft tissue tumor that is found next to a joint or tendon. A digital mucous cyst is a ganglion that arises from the dorsum of the distal interphalangeal joint (DIP joint). Digital mucous cysts commonly have an association with underlying DIP joint osteoarthritis.
