Digital mucous cysts هي نوع من العقد التي تظهر بشكل شائع في اليد. Ganglion هو ورم في الأنسجة الرخوة يقع بجوار المفصل أو الوتر. Digital mucous cyst يتطور تحديدًا من الجزء الخلفي للمفصل السلامي البعيد (مفصل DIP). غالبًا ما تتواجد هذه الأكياس مع التهاب المفاصل العظمي في المفصل DIP الأساسي.

A digital mucous cyst is a ganglion that arises from the dorsum of the distal interphalangeal joint (DIP joint). Digital mucous cysts commonly have an association with underlying DIP joint osteoarthritis.
