એન્ડ્રોજેનિક એલોપેસિયા (Androgenic alopecia) એ વાળ ખોવાવાનું એક સ્વરૂપ છે, જે મુખ્યત્વે માથાની ઉપર અને આગળના ભાગને અસર કરે છે. પુરુષ-પેટર્ન વાળ ખોવાવું (MPHL) સામાન્ય રીતે પાછળની વાળની લાઇન, ખોપરીની ઉપરની ત્વચાના શિરાઓમાં વાળ ખોવાવા અથવા બન્નેનું સંયોજન તરીકે દેખાય છે. સ્ત્રી-પેટર્ન વાળ ખોવાવું (FPHL) સામાન્ય રીતે સમગ્ર ખોપરીની ઉપરની ત્વચામાં પાતળા, વિખરાયેલા વાળ તરીકે દેખાય છે.
