Digital mucous cysts એ એક પ્રકારનું ગેન્ગ્લિઅન છે જે હાથે સામાન્ય રીતે મળે છે. Ganglion એ સોફ્ટ ટિસ્યુનું ટ્યુમર છે જે સાંધા અથવા ટેન્ડનની બાજુમાં મળે છે. Digital mucous cyst ખાસ કરીને ડિસ્ટલ ઇન્ટરફેલાંજિયલ જૉઇન્ટ (DIP જૉઇન્ટ) ના ડોર્સમથી વિકસે છે. આ કૉસ્ટ્સ ઘણી વાર DIP જૉઇન્ટની ઓસ્ટિયોઆર્થરાઇટિસ (osteoarthritis) સાથે જોડાયેલા હોય છે.
