Acne vulgaris adalah kondisi kulit jangka panjang yang menyebabkan berbagai jenis jerawat seperti komedo dan kista. Jika tidak ditangani dengan baik, bisa menimbulkan bekas luka. Ulasan ini mengeksplorasi berbagai jenis bekas jerawat dan cara memperbaikinya. Ada tiga tipe utama: icepick, rolling, and boxcar scars , yang kedalaman dan tampilannya bervariasi. Studi ini meneliti 6 makalah tentang seberapa baik laser fraksional CO2 ultra-pulsa dalam mengobati bekas jerawat yang tertekan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa perawatan laser ini lebih efektif dibandingkan metode lainnya, sehingga memberikan hasil yang lebih baik dalam hal tingkat perbaikan dan kehalusan kulit pasien.
