රක්ත නාලිකා (blood vessel) හෝ ලිම්ෆ් නාලිකා (lymphatic vessel) දෝෂයක් වන රක්ත නාලිකා දෝෂය (vascular malformation) යනු අසාමාන්‍යතාවයකි. 7 වසර 5 මාස වයසක පිරිමි ළමයෙකුට උපතේ සිට දකුණු අතේ උස්සන තැන් (swelling) ඇත. පියා ඒ උස්සන තැන් වැදගත් ලෙස වැඩිවෙමින් පවතින බවත්, ළමයාට එම උස්සන තැන්වල වේදනා (tenderness) ඇති බවත් පවසයි. ළමයා මාසයක්කට පෙර ඇන්ජියෝඑම්බොලිසිය (angioembolism) ලබා ඇත සහ නැවත එම්බොලිසියක් සඳහා රෝගියා ගෙන එයි. දැන් රෝගියා සඳහා ස්කෙලරෝතෙරපි (sclerotherapy) සැලසුම් කර ඇත.
Presenting a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) finding of a 7 year, 5-month-old male who was brought to our rural hospital by his father with chief complaints of swelling over his right hand since birth. His father narrated that the swelling is increasing significantly and the child has tenderness over swelling. The child underwent an angioembolism 1 month ago and has been brought for re-embolism. Now sclerotherapy has been planned for the patient.
