Telangiektázie (Telangiectasia) sú malé rozšírené krvné cievy, ktoré sa môžu vyskytovať v blízkosti povrchu kože alebo slizníc, s priemerom od 0,5 do 1 milimetra. Tieto rozšírené krvné cievy sa môžu vyvinúť kdekoľvek na tele, ale bežne sa vyskytujú na tvári okolo nosa, líc a brady.

Flash-lamp pulsed dye laser (FPDL) je teraz všeobecne uznávaný ako najpresnejší dostupný laser na liečbu povrchových cievnych problémov.
