Grover disease , còn được gọi là bệnh da liễu tiêu sợi gai thoáng qua, là một loại phát ban xuất hiện dưới dạng những vết sưng tấy chứa đầy chất lỏng ở phần trên cơ thể, chủ yếu ở những người đàn ông da trắng lớn tuổi. Nó thường ngứa nhưng không kéo dài. Có 4 kiểu thay đổi mô khác nhau trong Grover disease và nó có liên quan đến nhiều bệnh khác nhau, như ung thư máu. It can be hard to track and treat because it tends to come and go on its own. Because Grover disease has been associated frequently with other dermatologic and nondermatologic skin conditions, to rule out other concomitant disorders, including hematopoietic malignancies is essential.

Báo cáo này thảo luận về một trường hợp hiếm gặp về Grover's disease ở một người đàn ông da trắng 80 tuổi bị phát ban ở ngực trong ba đến bốn tháng qua. Ông có tiền sử huyết áp cao, cholesterol cao, viêm khớp đầu gối, trào ngược axit mãn tính, nhịp tim nhanh, ung thư tuyến tiền liệt trước đó và hội chứng chân không yên. Lúc đầu, cháu bị ngứa, mẩn đỏ, nổi mẩn chủ yếu ở phần trên cơ thể. Mặc dù đã sử dụng nhiều loại kem và nước thơm nhưng các triệu chứng của anh vẫn không cải thiện nhiều. This case report details a rare case of Grover's disease in an 80-year-old Caucasian male complaining of a rash across his chest over the last three to four months. The patient has a past medical history of essential hypertension, hyperlipidemia, osteoarthritis of the knee, chronic gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), supraventricular tachycardia, status post prostate cancer, and restless legs syndrome. During his initial evaluation, he was found to have a pruritic, erythematous, papular rash most notably along his upper trunk and chest. The patient utilized multiple lotions, emollients, and anti-itch creams with minimal relief of his symptoms and presentation. Following a referral to Dermatology, a biopsy of the rash was conducted, which revealed intraepidermal acantholysis, the hallmark finding for a diagnosis of Grover's disease. Subsequently, he was treated with a topical triamcinolone acetonide 0.1% cream for 14 days.
