雄性禿 (Androgenic alopecia) 是指主要影響頭皮頂部和前部的脫髮。於雄性禿 (MPHL) 中，脫髮通常表現為前髮線後退、頭頂脫髮，或兩者同時出現。女性型禿頭 (FPHL) 則常見於全頭皮的瀰漫性稀疏。
